Three days until Haunt day!

Registration has been open to everyone for the past week and those registrations have been coming in! Several of our most in-demand time slots are close to full, and 5 PM time slot is full. If you want to attend I urge you to sign up ASAP. (Once we hit our capacity for a half-hour time slot, I remove it from the selectable list on our Reservations system and anyone wanting to attend has to choose a different, available time slot. If there’s a half-hour available in the drop-down list, that time still has space.) This year’s new community fair-style format does allow us to place a somewhat higher attendance cap than last year’s (we hit our max capacity last year at 215 people), so we should be able to accommodate everyone who wants to attend… but just in case, considering we did max out last year, get those registrations in as soon as you can to avoid potential disappointment. (And a reminder: if all the Low Scare Hours are filled by the time you make your registration, but you really don’t want actors to scare you or your child, you can come get a glow necklace from our Barker or Haunt Overlord to stop the actors from scaring you. It won’t stop props from triggering though.)

We just had a fantastic article written about us by CTV, and our Haunt documentary was shown at Rainbow Reels movie festival last weekend. I’m going to be on AM 640 radio Wednesday or Thursday morning at 11:30 AM to talk about the Haunt, and on Friday at 7:45 PM I’ll be on CTV National spreading our accessibility message. We’re getting the word out there! In between all the press stuff, we’ve been hard at work preparing everything we need for this weekend, and we’re right on track. We’re all excited and ready to go!
